She looks to the past, not out of a nostalgic longing for childhood, but to get a grasp on these visual recollections.\u00a0Working like an archeologist, she investigates the subtle characteristics of memories; moments, fragrances and reminders again made visual in cloying images inspired by Vanitas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">She utilizes textiles, photoprinted fabric, digital and handmade appliques.In her commissioned projects, she\u2019s used terrazzo, laminated glass and photoprinted fabric in works for public spaces.
